Sean Barrett is a composer and orchestrator who creates music for media and stage. He began his career as a freelance musician in Los Angeles playing with touring acts across the country and overseas, but he eventually found a passion in composition and now works primarily in the TV/film industry.
As an orchestrator, he has worked on films (10 Cloverfield Lane, Hidden Figures, Despicable Me 3), television (Planet Earth II, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Outlander) and video games (God of War). As a composer and arranger, Sean has been commissioned to write music for college and high school performing ensembles, including pieces for big band, symphonic orchestra and various chamber groups.
With a diverse background in various styles of music, Sean can deliver music that is orchestral, jazz, electronic, or anything in between and he enjoys the process of collaborating with filmmakers to find the right sound for the project. He recently finished composing the score for an independent feature film entitled At Your Own Risk.
